Adrian’s Inc., parent company of Tennessee Webbing Products, says goodbye to patriarch
Adrian was much more to our business than just a shareholder. He acted as an adviser, a consultant, a critic, a cheerleader, a therapist and so much more it’s impossible to list. The simplest way to put it is this: without him, there would be no Adrian’s, Inc. And over the past 25 years, he has been vital to our growth and stability. He wasn’t much for the sales and marketing side of the business, but with an entire career as an industrial engineer, his knowledge and experiences in operations and management were essential to our success.
Adrian died on the afternoon of September 11, 2016. He was 83 years old. Even though his body betrayed him in his last years, he remained our compass. He called nearly every day, just to check in and see how everyone was doing. He will be missed by us all. We will continue our work in his honor, to honor the namesake of our company.
To most of our wonderful staff, he was respectfully called Mr. Dew. To some here he was called Uncle Sonny. To others he was called Papa. To me he was Dad. We are a testament to his love of family and friends.
Steve we are so sorry for your loss. Thank God your dad is whole and healthy again in Heaven and you will see him again one day.
Julie, Thank you. And yes, I have no doubt he will be first in line to greet me.
I’m so sorry to hear this Steve. He will always be proud of you.
Cindy, Thank you for the kind words and encouragement.
Oh, Steve, I had no idea about your dad. I love the pictures that you posted. The one of you when you were younger is how I remember you!! I hope your mom is doing alright!!
Love,
Donna Hall
Donna, Thank you. Yes, it seems a life time ago! Mom is well and I am keeping her close.
